Matlock Road, Chesterfield
JCAD were commissioned to produce Architectural Designs for an extension to the rear of an existing Three bedroomed family home in Chesterfield.
Following an extensive design review process a final scheme was agreed with the client and subsequent planning approval was received from Chesterfield Borough Council after which the final construction package was produced, receiving Building Regulations approval prior to construction works commencing on site.
The scheme is broadly detailed below.
Existing Property – A detached three bedroom property with separate kitchen, lounge and dining rooms in the sought after location of Walton, Chesterfield.
As Built – A two storey extension to the rear of the house together with extension of the existing single storey lean too at the rear of the kitchen.
The extension to the single storey lean too was designed to link the kitchen to a new snug lounge at the rear of the property, leading out though Bi-fold doors onto a raised decking area whilst at first floor level a new master bedroom and en-suite.
The completed dwelling comprises the following accommodation:
- New snug lounge
- De-boot garden porch / lobby
- Downstairs toilet
- Master bedroom (fourth bedroom) with en-suite
