Following a highly detailed design consultation, the property owner appointed JCAD to produce Architectural Designs, transforming a dated detached three bedroom home into a large, open plan four bedroom house that maximised light egress and brought the property into the 21st Century. The results were more traditional but modern extensive to the front and a contemporary design to the rear of the property which has been widely received with praise.
A planning application was submitted and successfully negotiated with Sheffield City Council before highly technical and comprehensive designs were produced, Structural Engineers consulted and final construction package drawings prepared for submission to building control for approval prior to construction.
The scheme is broadly detailed below.
